Winter Ride Club
Ride Club is for beginner-intermediate women mountain bikers who want to ride regularly in a supported trail ride, and continue to develop skills along the way.
Have you done a Foundational Skills Series and want to keep progressing your riding, or at least maintaining those skills?
Do you want to ride with others that are at the same/similar skill level and not worry that you’re holding others back?
Do you want to build your confidence and skills and get familiar with Stromlo trails?
Do you want to keep your momentum over winter and need some motivation?
Do you want to be part of a friendly, fun, female mtb community?
This will be perfect for you!
Who this isn’t for:
-Riders who don’t want to progress any skills
-Beginners who have not yet done a foundational skills course
-Riders who are already comfortable with the skills they have and aren’t looking to improve
-Riders who want a high intensity work out every time. While we try to match everyone to their level of skill and fitness, we always wait for the slowest rider.
-Strong intermediate or advanced riders who want to be challenged or ride black trails.

FAQs
What if I can’t make some of the dates/times listed?
No problem! We have make-up sessions available or you can join an extra session on a weekend as a makeup ride if space permits. Unfortunately rides cannot be carried over to the next season. What if I’m sick or can’t make it at short notice?
Unfortunately we cannot offer a makeup ride for short notice cancellation (i.e. less than 36hrs). We keep to strict coach:rider ratios so we finalise groups and coaches a few days out. What if I want to do extra rides?
Great! Additional rides are available if you have an Annual Ride Club membership (only available once per year in Winter) or a general membership, see here for details. What if I can’t make a Foundational Skills Series prior to the start of the Ride Club season?
No problem. If you want to book in for a private session (see here for details), we can get you going asap!
Otherwise, you can join our general membership and join some casual rides once you’ve completed a foundational course. What if I can only make a few rides each season?
We have a new option which will allow riders from out of town or riders who travel for work and can’t make many rides but still want to join us! This is our Dirt Maidens membership. See here for details
