Dirt Maidens are working with ACT Parks and Conservation to maintain the trails at Bruce Ridge. We will run these approximately 3 times per year for 3hrs.

Dirt Maidens began as a women’s mountain bike event- the Dirt Maidens Challenge. This was born from a love of mountain biking, and the want to make mountain biking an inclusive and supportive place for women to enjoy and explore the outdoors, to challenge themselves, and to build community.
We ran the Dirt Maidens Challenge in the Snowy Mountains from 2013-2015, and in Mt Buller in 2016. After a break from 2016-2022 (having a family will do this!), Dirt Maidens returned primarily to coach women’s skills clinics, but has evolved to offer regular Ride Club, skills clinics, and opportunities for retreats and adventure rides. We hope to continue to offer opportunities for women to explore the outdoors in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment and continue to build a lively and warm community.
