CARVE Cornering Clinic
Corners are everywhere! And they aren’t all created equal. We have helped hundreds of women find more confidence and stability through corners and love seeing the progression.
Are you:
-wanting to progress after completing a beginner skills program?
-a strong beginner/experienced novice/low intermediate rider and wanting to progress your riding more in corners?
-nervous through different types of corners e.g. big berms??
-a seasoned rider who has been off the bike for a while?
-a seasoned rider who has had a crash and lost some confidence?
-a rider who is wanting to build skills so you can progress to jumps?
Then this is the clinic for you!
We look at different types of corners and build your ‘toolbox’ to help you navigate different types of corners with more confidence. We work on body position, bike body separation, braking, trail scanning and other small tweaks and tips to help you improve your stability and speed through corners.
In this clinic we work on cornering skills in a flat open area before taking them to the trails.
This clinic requires solid foundational skills and a moderate level of fitness. There are lots of opportunities for breaks, however good fitness will allow you to get more out of the clinic as you are able to get more laps in without getting as tired. We will often ride approx 6-7km over 3hrs including sessioning of specific corners.
