Mini Maidens 3-4s

$198.00

Do you want to give your kids a gift that they can take with them through life? Learning to ride a bike is something we want all kids to experience, and setting them up well from the start is a great way to ensure they build confidence and a love of bikes from the beginning!

When kids see other kids riding, it normalises it. When kids watch other kids ride, they learn from it. It’s also a great way for parents to learn some tips and tricks for helping little ones build balance and stability so they can continue to ride and practice at home.

These sessions are for 3-5yr olds (both boys and girls) who are learning to ride and are on either a balance bike, a 12 inch, 14 inch or 16 inch bike. It is designed for children who are in pre school or almost at pre-school.

The sessions are social, and we want you to join in to help your little one if they need it, but our coaches will take the lead, give instructions and set them up for some fun and progress on bikes!

Where?
These 45min sessions will take place at Stromlo Forest Park. Most sessions will take place in an open area, with the last few weeks of the program riding some trail. Exact details for meeting place will be provided once you’re booked in.

No experience necessary!

FAQs

Q) My child doesn’t have a a bike yet

Please get in touch and we can assist you.

Q) What if it’s raining?

If it’s raining lightly we will still go ahead. We have some areas that we can play where we can stay mostly dry but please dress for the weather! If it is dangerous or heavy rain is forecast, we will cancel the session and offer a makeup session on the last week of term (week 10).

Q) What do we need to bring?

Please bring a bike (or contact us about a bike), a well-fitting Australian approved helmet, and gloves (full fingered gloves are best for children using hand brakes, mittens are great for balance bikes). We will also have some spare gloves if you don’t have any. We also recommend wearing knee and elbow guards as your children progress and until they become more confident riders. We will have some spares for you to hire for the term if you require!
