Dirt Maidens invites current servicewomen and veterans on a guided social ride around the peaceful fire trails of Mount Stromlo, ACT.
On our day of national remembrance, we'd like to celebrate the strength and courage of our service women by reflecting and connecting on two wheels. We welcome all servicewomen and veterans to join us for this special ride.
The ride will commence at 8:30am, allowing you time to get into your riding kit after a quick "split" post dawn service. This is a technically easy, medium to slow paced ride for those who are keen to celebrate ANZAC day with likeminded women in the outdoors. We will ride for 2 hours with a few stops, so moderate fitness is required.
The ride will be lead by Rach- one of our amazing coaches who is also a veteran, and supported by other Dirt Maidens coaches to a min ratio 1:10.
When: Saturday 25 April 2026
Time: 8:30 - 10:30am
Where: Meet at the pavilion, next to the emergency phone.
Cost: $20pp
This ride is subsidised by Dirt Maidens and the small fee will cover admin costs. If the cost is still a barrier to participants, please get in touch info@dirtmaidens.com.au as we do not want this to be a barrier to participation in this event.
